Don’t undermine me or any other woman just because we’re women. Ruth Bader Ginsburg paved the way for women to be independent from men, teaching us how to be the confident, hard-working, and fearless leaders we were meant to be. Because of her, I know with hustle and grit us women can achieve anything. It doesn’t matter the length of time it takes to get there, we just can’t give up.

This mentality supported me as I started a business from the ground up.

Damn Delicious® began as a hobby with a Tumblr account to document some of my favorite recipes during graduate school. This hobby turned into a business two years later when I was able to quit my full-time job as a receptionist at an orthodontist office. Coming from a very traditional Korean household, I was destined to be one of three things: a lawyer, a dentist or a doctor. Entrepreneurship was a road less traveled. 

Nine years later though, Damn Delicious® has grown into something that I never thought would be possible. I have connected with readers all over the world, conquered so many culinary feats in my kitchen, and collaborated with brands that I always dreamed to work with. Damn Delicious® has reached 15-20 million page views per month this year.

Damn Delicious® has even grown into an amazing all female team. Together we create the best possible recipes, step-by-step tutorials, and videos that focus on quick and easy meals for the everyday home cook. We’ve even published two cookbooks that are both available on Amazon. The first one focuses on quick and easy meals and the second one focuses on meal prep. 

I love the idea of bringing people together through food and hope to expand our team and create more job opportunities for women in the near future.
